How it works

You answer five questions. Hosty drafts the plan, finds venues and writes to vendors. Nothing is sent or booked until you say so.

In the example, a mixer for 120 people in Boston on Thursday, March 12, with $5,000 to spend, becomes a timeline with a budget split, three venues that fit including a room at Kenmore College that may be free for its students, and a first message to Northside Catering asking for a quote.

    What it is, how many people, where, when and the budget. About a minute.

  2. It drafts the plan

    A timeline counted back from your date, and a budget split for that kind of event.

  3. It finds venues that fit

    Only places that suit the kind of event, including rooms at nearby colleges that are often free to book.

  4. It writes to vendors

    A first message to each caterer, photographer and AV crew, with what they need to quote. You read it, then you send it.

Then Hosty builds the run sheet for the day from the plan.
